RAWALPINDI (92 News) – DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has said that the Pak Army is much pleased on the completion of the democratic term. Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that forces should not be dragged into politics as it is not their duty to conduct the elections. “We are tolerating for Pakistan and will not tolerate when the word will be against Pakistan,” he said. “The allegation whatever was leveled against the Pak Army proved wrong.” The DG ISPR said that they leave the political allegations to the time. He said that Pakistan forces are a symbol of national solidarity. “All the propaganda on the social media is baseless.” Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that no minor girl was killed in activities of the forces in Wana. “A campaign is being launched by posting a fake picture,” he added. The DG ISPR said that he had met Manzoor Pashtin and Mohsin Dawar and assured them to resolve their justified problems. “Mohsin Dawar sent a message of thanks on the resolution of their problems. How did Manzoor Ahmed become Manzoor Pashtin? Demonstrations started against the country,” he maintained. Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that the merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is big success. “This is an internal matter of the country. We have to take the region to progress. Every terrorist is not Pashtun. Saboteurs have neither a region not religion,” he said. The Pak Army spokesman said that the situation will improve after the killing of Salman Badini. Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that the inquiry against Asad Durrani will be completed soon. “Asad Durrani did not get the NOC with regard to the book. The elements whatsoever will be exposed in the Asad Durrani case,” he said. He said that terrorists have been eliminated through the Zarb-e-Azb. “I had a meeting with Manzoor Pashtin and Mohsin Dawar at my office,” he said. The DG ISPR said that people’s love for the Army had increased, not reduced, during the last 10 years. “We will do whatever will be in the interest of the country. Under the Radul Fasaad, the Rangers are continuing the operation. The Rangers did a good job,” he maintained. He said that thanks God there has been peace in Karachi for a long period.
