Asad Umar granted bail in cipher case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Official Secret Act Court Judge Abu Al-Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain granted bail to PTI leader Asad Umar in the cipher case.

The court ordered him to furnish surety bonds worth Rs50,000.

During the hearing, the FIA prosecutor told court that they did not want arrest of Asad Umar as there were no proofs against him.

Talking to the media after the hearing, Asad Umar said that the allegations levelled against him should not be levelled against anyone. "They are reading out the FIR, but not informing me about the allegations," he added.
