ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar on Tuesday hinted at reopening of the restaurants and wedding halls after Eidul Azha on Tuesday. He promised with a delegation of the wedding halls and restaurants owners during a meeting when they requested for reopening of the marriage halls under SOPs, which were closed across the country due to the COVID-19. Asad Umar said that the matter will be decided in the meeting of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) after the Eidul Azha. Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar hinted at opening tourist spots including Murree soon, saying that standard operating procedures (SOPs) are being finalized for reopening of restaurants and hotels. Buzdar pointed out that the government was determined to reopen tourist destinations, restaurants and hotels in Murree. “We are preparing the SOPs and will discuss them in the upcoming NCOC meeting.”
