ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar has declared that a complete lockdown is impossible in the country. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that coronavirus had badly affected the livelihood of the people. “We are trying to introduce a system which should secure the livelihood of the masses and control the spread of coronavirus,” he said. Hammad Azhar said that the government will introduce a system for small and medium entrepreneurs. “Small traders will be given a subsidy on electricity bills,” he said. National Security Adviser Moeed Yousaf said that each person coming from abroad will quarantined for two days and later he/she will have to undergo a coronavirus test. He said that portal covid.gov.pk can be accessed to get update on repatriation of the Pakistanis stranded abroad. “We want to repatriate the stranded Pakistanis as early as possible. It is our top priority to save our citizens. The objective of this step to ensure transparency,” he said. He said that 6,000 Pakistanis would be repatriated next week. PM Focal Person on Coronavirus Dr Faisal Sultan said that all steps would be taken to control coronavirus. He advised the people to be cautious in daily life.
