Ahad Cheema's remand extended in Ashiana Housing scam

LAHORE (92 News) - An accountability court on Wednesday extended judicial remand of former director general (DG) Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Ahad Cheema. Due to the absence of justice Najamul Hassan, the Justice Chaudhry Munir heard the case and directed to present the accused before the court on July 13. He extended 9-days judicial of Ahad Cheema and five others for nine more days in Ashiana Housing Scheme case. In previous hearing on Tuesday, the accountability court sent Lahore Development Authority (LDA) former director-general Ahad Cheema on judicial remand until July 4. The court sent Ahad Cheema and chief executive officer (CEO) of Bismillah Engineering Shahid Shafiq to jail on a judicial remand in the Ashiana Housing Scheme case.
