JAFFARABAD (92 News) – PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari has said that India is misleading the people in Balochistan.

Speaking at the death anniversary of Mir Jaffar Khan Jamali on Friday, he said that Balochistan is rich in natural resources, but going to mountains by rebels caused a loss to them.

“The CPEC project will strengthen Pakistan,” he said. “I love Balochistan as I love Pakistan. Balochs should stop themselves from going into wrong hands.”

About the CPEC project, he said that some friends have misunderstandings on the project. “It’s not only a project of a region, but entire Pakistan.”

The PPP co-chairman made it clear that India cannot stop Pakistan’s share of water because they had found alternate sources of water in Central Asia.

“We will brick-line the canal system across Balochistan if we got an opportunity to form the government,” he said.
