KARACHI (92 News) - MQM-P leader Waseem Akhtar has criticized the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) over the abysmal state of the City of the Quaid during the heavy rains.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that being the signatory of the agreement he was talking to the PPP in a low tone. "Why is havoc being played with the city? Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto should look at the incompetence of their team. It will happen if you will give jobs to the people on fake domiciles," he maintained.

The MQM leader said that the situation in Larkana and Naudero would have not been the same had the powers not delegated to the lower level.

He said that the delimitations of the constituencies have been destroyed by using the Election Commission of Pakistan. "I appeal to the Supreme Court to announce the verdict of our case on merit," he added.

Waseem Akhtar declared the provincial government responsible for not disposing of rainwater. "Where does the money collected in taxes from Karachi go? Only the MQM has the real mandate. Fourteen seats were stolen and given to the previous government. No party has done for Karachi," he maintained.
