Asif Zardari, Ch Shujaat discuss political situation

LAHORE (92 News) - Former president Asif Zardari called on PML-Q president Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain at his residence on Thursday.

During the two-hour meeting, both leaders discussed the current political situation.

Asif Zardari sought the support for Hamza Shehbaz in the election for the Friday's chief minister. Sources said that Chaudhary Shujaat had not assured him the support.

Federal Minister Chaudhary Salik Hussain and Rukhsana Bangash were also present. However, Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain had given a clear-cut statement in favour of Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi.
