Asif Zardari resumes politics, directs PPP to expedite activities

KARACHI (92 News) – PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari has directed the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) to expedite political activities. Addressing a meeting of the PPP Central Executive Committee through the video link on Saturday, he said that cases are not new thing for his party which has always faced the conditions. Speaking on the occasion, Latif Khosa said that references against the former president are very weak. "For this reason, the media trial of Asif Zardari is being stressed," he added. He said that Asif Zardari would appear in the Tosha Khana reference on August 17 and members of the People's Lawyers Forum will accompany him. Senator Raza Rabbani said that the former president had directed to stage protest over people's problems. "We will face the NAB like the past. The word of separating Karachi from Sindh is not a new thing for us," he added. He said that the FATF is being used to promote the fascist system. "The federal government tried to suspend the parliament. Life would become a hell for the common if this law is passed," he added.
