Asif Zardari undergoes various medical tests at PIMS

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari underwent various medical tests at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on Thursday. Zardari has been shifted to PIMS on the recommendation of the medical board. The spokesman said that Asif Zardari underwent the tests of sugar, blood pressure and cardiac. The medical board has decided to hospitalize Asif Zardari for a few days. A heavy contingent of police had been deployed on the occasion. Meanwhile, the accountability court has allowed the lawyers’ team to meet Asif Zardari. On the other hand, Asif Zardari’s counsels have moved a contempt of court plea against the jail authorities for not providing the facilities of an air-conditioner and a refrigerator. They said that the jail officials were not implementing the court orders. “We will keep the air-conditioner and refrigerator on our expenses. We will donate both items to jail on the release of Asif Zardari,” they stated.
