Asif Zardari’s missing friends recovered from Turbat

KARACHI (92 News) – Two missing close aides of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari have been recovered on Sunday from Balochistan’s bordering town of Mand, in Turbat district.

As per details, the Anti-Violent Crime Cell and Intelligence Agencies carried out a joint raid in Turbat and recovered two friends of the former president along with their security guards and drivers.

The two were abducted in different incidents in Karachi and Jamshoro.

The recovered men were identified as Ashfaq Laghari and Ghulam Qadir Marri who went missing last month along with former adviser to Sindh government Nawab Ali Laghari.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anti-Violent Cell Tariq Dharejo said that the family of Ashfaq Laghari had received calls from his abductors demanding the ransom.
