Assemblies will only be dissolved on expiry of tenure: PML-N leaders

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif presided over an important meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday. The meeting attended by senior leadership of the party rejected the PTI proposal to dissolve the assemblies and decided to dissolve them only after expiry of their tenure. It also discussed the delimitation of the constituencies. Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that the PTI does not trust its members. “We have neither seen towards the NRO nor do we wish for it,” he said. He said that there is no room for the technocrat government in the constitution. Railways Minster Khawaja Saad Rafique has declared Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif an alternate candidate for the premiership.
