Assests beyond means case: Agha Siraj Durrani appears in court

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Assembly Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani has appeared in the court of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the case of assests beyond means on Thursday.

The other accused named in reference also appeared in the court. Three witnesses did not attened the hearing and could not submit documents. NAB prosecutor sought some time till next hearing.

The court directed to ensure the presence of witnesses in next hearing.

Talking to media after hearing, Agha Siraj said: “I have not seen the Local Government Amendment Bill properly yet. We had talked to the opposition on the Local Government Amendment Bill. Congratulations to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami on its victory. If local body elections are announced in Sindh, then the PPP will make full preparations. Victory in local body elections will be for PPP.”
