Assets beyond income: NAB summons Shehbaz Sharif’s wife, daughters

LAHORE (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned the wife and three daughters of Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif for investigations into the assets beyond known sources of income case. A notice has been sent to the house of Shehbaz Sharif’s daughter. The NAB has summoned Nusrat Shahbaz on April 17 and daughters on April 18 and 19. On the other hand, the NAB has again summoned Hamza Shehbaz on April 15 and 16. Meanwhile, Marriyum Aurangzeb has accused the NAB of besieging the house of Shehbaz Sharif’s daughter. PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari condemned the ‘NAB raid’ on the house of Shehbaz Sharif’s daughter, saying only the coward trespassed on the house. On the other hand, the NAB has denied the raid and besieging the house of Shehbaz Sharif’s daughter. “The team had gone to deliver the summon notice only,” it added. The NAB spokesman said that certain elements were doing propaganda to defame the NAB.
