Assets beyond means: NAB seeks record of properties owned by Usman Buzdar, family

LAHORE (92 New) - The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has demanded the record of the properties owned by Punjab former chief minister Usman Buzdar and his family.

According to sources, the Lahore NAB has decided to arrest Usman Buzdar. The NAB Headquarters has given 15-day deadline to the Lahore NAB in this regard.

It has directed the Lahore NAB to collect the data for arresting Usman Buzdar at the earliest. Meanwhile, the Lahore NAB has written letters to the LDA and other housing societies.

Usman Buzdar also faces the charge of giving an illegal licence to a private hotel. The Lahore NAB had summoned Usman Buzdar for investigation. He will be again summoned in a few days.

On the other hand, the Lahore High Court Multan Bench has stopped the NAB to take action against Usman Buzdar. Justice Shakeel Ahmed and Justice Amjad Rafique heard the plea.
