KARACHI (92 News) – At least 15 more people died due to heatwave on Monday, soaring the death toll above 1200 while hundreds are still receiving treatment in hospitals. The death toll from a deadly heatwave continued to rise despite cooler temperatures. At least 11 people lost their lives in Jinnah Jospital, two lost their lives in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, while two people died in Sindh government hospital and Civil Hospital due to heat-related diseases. Most of the elders were among the dead. According to hospital sources, the number of patients decreased as the temperature decreased.
