At least seven killed, 45 injured as India resorts to unprovoked firing

SIALKOT (92 News) – At least seven persons were killed and 45 others sustained injuries in an unprovoked shelling and firing by Indian forces in Sujeet Garh and Charwah sectors on the Sialkot Working Boundary. As per details, Indian Border Force (BSF) opened unprovoked fire with heavy shelling in Sajeet Garh Sector, Charwa Sector and Harpal Sector, killing seven citizens namely Zulfiqar, Maqsood Shahzad, Waqas, Aslam, Mahmood and Irshad Bibi and injuring 45 others including woman and children. Punjab Rangers gave befitting reply, silencing the Indian guns. The injured persons were shifted to CMH Sialkot, while the eight persons were said to be in critical condition. The BSF shelling killed dozens of animals and damaged houses, while panic gripped the area. The United Nations military observers had visited the area.
