Four martyred, 27 injured in suicide blast near truck of Balochistan Constabulary

QUETTA (92 News) – Four people, including a woman and two children, martyred in a suicide blast near a truck of the Balochistan Constabulary at Balili Bypass on Wednesday.

According to sources, 27 people, including 20 officials, were injured in the blast. The police and other law-enforcement agencies also reached the spot and shifted the injured to Civil Hospital.

The condition of the two injured is stated to be critical.

The Quetta DIG told the media that the policemen were going to the polio duty when the blast occurred. He said that a rickshaw laden with 20-25kg explosive material was used in the blast.

The DIG said that nearby vehicles were also damaged in the blast.

On the other hand, the funeral for the martyred policemen Muhammad Ibrahim, a resident of Naseerabad, was offered at Police Lines. Balcohistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langov, IG and other high-ranking officers also attended the funeral.
