At least two terrorists, intelligence agency assistant director killed in Karachi operation

KARACHI (92 News) – At least two terrorists of a banned outfit and an intelligence agencies assistant director were killed during a raid conducted by the Sindh Rangers on Tuesday. Sindh Rangers conducted a search operation in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block's 13-D building and cordoned off the area. The Rangers were searching houses, when some armed assailants opened firing at Rangers, in retaliation two terrorists namely Abdul Ahad and Saleh were killed, while Intelligence agencies Assistant Director Muhammad Sajjad was martyred in the shhotout. The terrorists were said to be working for a banned organisation. Rangers seized banned literature and weapons from the house. In another incident, police conducted search operation in Liyari’s Kalakot area, when three gang war members namely Saghir alias Langra, Hanif and Faisal opened firing at police party. In retaliation, three gang war members killed on the spot, while police seized weapons and hand grenades. Meanwhile, a dacoit was killed, two managed to escape after shoot out with the police, while police detained a Liyari gang war suspect in Rizvia Colony. On the other hand, police detained a cop Abid and his brother, accused of killing his wife and daughter in Sachal area. The bodies of the deceased Sakina, wife of Abid and her daughter Mehwish were recovered from a flat in Gulistan-e-Johar.
