LAHORE (92 News) - An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday extended physical remand of PML-N MPA Khawaja Imran Nazir for another two days in a case pertaining to the violence outside the NAB Lahore office during arrival of Maryam Nawaz.

Police produced the MPA before court and sought an extension in his physical remand. During the course of the hearing, the public prosecutor pleaded with the court to extend his remand, saying that his custody was required for photogrammetric test.

ATC Judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta ordered that the accused be presented before court (ATC) on November 11.

Earlier on November 8, a court granted one-day physical remand of PML-N MPA Khawaja Imran Nazir in a case pertaining to the violence outside the NAB Lahore office during arrival of Maryam Nawaz.

Duty Judge Hafiz Nafees ordered that the accused be presented before anti-terrorism court (ATC) hearing the case tomorrow without fail. Police presented MPA before court and sought his one-day remand.

Khawaja Imran’s lawyer, however, opposed the police’s plea to grant remand of his client.

PML-N MPA was arrested in a case pertaining to the violence outside the NAB Lahore office during arrival of Maryam Nawaz there in August last. The lawmaker, who was declared wanted by police in the case, was intercepted and arrested by Faisal Town police after his car was identified with the help of Safe City cameras.
