ATC sends Dr Asim to jail till Dec 30

KARACHI (92 News) – The Anti-Terrorism Court has on Tuesday ordered to send former federal minister for petroleum Dr Asim Hussain to jail till December 30.

The hearing of case against the Dr Asim was held, in which the court sent former federal minister to jail. The court ordered the investigation officer to present the report in the court.

The lawyers exchanged hot words in the courtroom, on which the court remarked that everyone would be thrown out if they won’t keep silence.

Dr Asim, who is a close aide of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari, was taken back into police custody following the verdict and presented in the ATC.
