ATC sends MQM’s Umair Hassan on ten-day physical remand

KARACHI (92 News) –Mutahida Qaumi Movement elections cell member Umair Hassan Siddiqui, was sent on 10 days physical remand by the Anti-Terrorism Special Court on Monday. Rangers Law Officer Rana Khalid said during court proceedings that Umair Hassan Siddiqui was involved in more than 100 incidents of target killings. The Law Officer said the accused confessed his involvement in the target killing of 67 people in 84 incidents in front of the joint investigation team. “The record of 44 target killing cases has been collected,” he said. The accused Umair Hassan was also involved in Separate Karachi Tehreek, extortion and rigging in elections.
