ATC sends PML-N MPA Imran Nazir to jail on 14-day judicial remand

He was brought to the court by the police on completion of his one-day physical remand. Judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta sent the lawmaker to jail on judicial remand.

Investigation officer stated that Imran Nazir, who was arrested on Saturday, is nominated in NAB office clash case and his custody was required for photogrammetric test.

The court rejected a plea for extension in physical remand of PML-N MPA. The court issued notices to all respondents to submit their comments on a bail petition of the MPA. His lawyer contended that his client was not involved in any rioting and requested that he be released on bail.

MPA Khawaja Imran Nazir was arrested by police on November 7 when authorities stopped his vehicle on Model Town Link Road and told him that the car was wanted by police in NAB office clash case.
