In a series of tweets on Monday, the special assistant declared the Indian forces attack on people, who are paying homage to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), in IoK as the worst form of Indian state terrorism. Firdous Ashiq Awan said fascist Modi – the follower of Yazid – has snatched the religious freedom as well as basic constitutional, democratic and human rights of oppressed Kashmiri people. She also said that Pakistan strongly condemns the Indian oppression and detention of the mourners. “India and oppressor Modi will also face the fate of Yazid and Kashmir will get freedom,” the special assistant hoped. “Despite the worst siege and curfew imposed by murderer Modi’s occupying forces, the people of IoK revived the spirit of Karbala by coming out of their homes,” she said, adding that the flagbearers of Hussainiyat challenged the Indian oppression and demonstrated an unwavering commitment to stand up for righteousness.
