KARACHI (92 News) – Prince Karim Aga Khan has strongly condemned the Safora tragedy, saying that the attack on the peaceful Ismaili community in incomprehensible and height of apathy. He expressed profound grief and sorrow over the Safora tragedy. “The attack is unjustified violence against a peaceful ‘biradari’. My feelings are with the bereaved families and the injured.” Prince Karim Aga Khan said that the Ismailis are a peaceful community that lives in harmony with all religions and races across the world. He said that the local Ismaili leader is busy in an emergency operation and helping the survivors. At least 43 people were killed when six unidentified gunmen riding on three motorcycles opened fire on a bus carrying the people belonging to the Ismaili community. Six people survived the attack.
