Attempt was made to mislead people about electronic voting machine: Hassan Khawar

LAHORE (92 News) – Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Hassan Khawar said that an attempt was made to mislead the people regarding electronic voting machine.

Talking to the media on Sunday, Hassan Khawar said that if electronic voting machine (EVM) is not connected to any internet then how can it be hacked?

He said that the system of automation and technology would bring transparency and electronic voting machine will also print a paper after casting a vote.

The Punjab government spokesman said that the opposition must understand that the 18th century methods of rigging will not work in the 21st century.
