Attock Tragedy: US strongly condemns terrorist attack

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The US Mission in Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Punjab Home Minister Colonel (r) Shuja Khanzada’s office in Attock. In a statement issued by the US consulate, the spokesperson for US embassy extended its deepest sympathies and condolences to the bereaved families of Sunday’s attack and termed it a cowardly attack. The spokesperson said that the US government remains committed to the people of Pakistan and to the Pakistani government’s in its fight against terrorism. “We support Pakistan’s determination to bring to justice those behind the attack and are prepared to provide assistance, if requested, to government authorities investigating this attack,” the statement added.
