MELBOURNE (92 News) Australia defeated Pakistan by 2 wickets in the first ODI match of the three-match series.
Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first.
The Pakistani team performed poorly and posted a total 203 runs in the 47th over.
In response, Australia achieved the set target in the 34th over for 8. Josh Inglis scored 49 runs, and Steven Smith scored 44 runs.
