Autopsy confirms five-year-old girl was murdered ruthlessly after being raped in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The autopsy report has confirmed that five-year-old girl was murdered ruthlessly after being raped in Old Sabzi Mandi area. MLO Dr Zakiya told 92 News that innocent girl Marwa was bricked to death mercilessly after being raped. She said that the body was 3-4 days old. She also expressed her suspicion that the victim was also administered poison. "Samples have been sent for chemical examination," she added. Meanwhile, locals continued their protest on the second day. They chanted slogans and demanded justice for the victim. PTI leader Shamim Naqvi and PPP leader Shehla Raza visited the house of the victim and shared their sympathies with the bereaved family. Shamim Naqvi said that it was surprising that the incident had occurred despite the promulgation of the Zainab Alert Bill. He demanded that the investigation should be assigned to the most competent officer. Shehla Raza assured that the Sindh government will fully support the victim family and make all-out effort to bring the culprit to justice. On the other hand, PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto has taken notice of the incident and directed the Sindh police to bring the culprit to justice.
