Avenfield reference: Nawaz Sharif not to present any witness in his defence

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday answered 128 questions in Avenfield reference, has decided to not present any witness in his defence. While recording his statement for the third consecutive day in Avenfield reference, Nawaz Sharif answered to remaining five questions. After concluding his statement, Nawaz Sharif has decided to not present any witness in his defence as he does not need to prove his innocence. He said that the NAB has failed to prove his case in the court. Nawaz Sharif claims that he received a phone call who advised him that he should resign or he would be sent on an extended leave. “The purpose of the message was to question how dare I initiate an inquiry against Treason case,” he said. He further said that he didn’t stop the trial of treason case and now facing the consequences. He said that all he did not get pressurized over dismissing the treason case. He mentioned that why is the case made against them, the nation knows everything.
