Avenfield verdict states no corruption proven against Nawaz: Shehbaz

BAHAWALNAGAR (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said the National Accountability Court (NAB) judge also mentioned in Avenfield reference that no corruption was proved against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. Addressing to a party workers convention, Shehbaz Sharif said that Nawaz and Maryam wil be returning to Pakistan after bidding farewell to [the ailing] Kulsoom Nawaz.  Shehbaz added that he worked day and night under the leadership of Nawaz to rid the country of load-shedding. Commenting on the recent Avenfield verdict against Nawaz, he said that the verdict said that no corruption was proven against Nawaz. Shehbaz also slammed opponents for hurling fake accusations against the party, calling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan a liar. “Imran had claimed he will bring electricity to the entire country,” The PML-N president said. He mentioned that how the liars will remove their name from all the projects of inauguration plates.
