ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan has announced to present the plane crash inquiry report in the Parliament on June 22. Expressing his views in the National Assembly on Wednesday, he said that Pakistan’s pilots had been involved in forgery. “As many as 546 people were given jobs on fake degrees,” he said. The minister said that the pilot’s psychological and physical test should also be conducted. “A free and fair inquiry will be conducted into the PIA plane tragedy and the responsible will be held accountable,” he maintained. He said that the PIA is suffering a loss of Rs6 billion monthly due to coronavirus. “No one has been removed from the PIA despite the fact overstaffing was done on political grounds. The PIA has so far repatriated 56,800 stranded Pakistanis from different countries,” he added. Ghulam Sarwar Khan warned that the coming time will be very difficult if people did not follow the precautionary measures. “Those not following the precautionary measures are putting theirs as well as others lives at risk. It will be dangerous for the healthcare system if coronavirus continued to increase,” he added. He said that the people can evade destruction like Italy and the US by taking the coronavirus seriously. “The people will have to follow SOPs to stop the fast spread of coronavirus,” he said.
