Awarded contempt of court sentence for standing by our leadership in Panama case: Talal Ch

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PML-N Senator Talal Chaudhary said that he was awarded the contempt of court sentence for standing by their party leadership in the Panama case.

Expressing his views in the Senate on Wednesday, he said that the judicial complex was shaken on the arrival of a leader, but he was not charged for contempt of court.

“In the civilized world, the contempt of court law has already been abolished. The dignity of the country will be high if violators of the constitution are sentenced instead of those who founded the constitution,” he maintained.
