Ayesha Gulalai lashes out at media over questions of text messages

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Member National Assembly Ayesha Wazir Gulalai has on Monday lashed out at media when asked about Imran Khan’s sending her inappropriate text messages. Taking to media after inquiring about the health of Dengue patients at Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar, she said that media is not a judge that she would present text messages in front of it. The former PTI leader said that Imran Khan is not attending National Assembly session due to the fear of facing her. Gulalai had announced to left the party and accused the PTI chief of misogyny and sending her inappropriate text messages. She also alleged that women were not respected in the PTI and she had quit over differences with the party leadership. All charges have been dismissed by the party. Gulalai was sent a show cause notice after the press conference to explain her actions but she failed to respond.
