ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Customs Court has on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of model Ayyan Ali’s currency smuggling case until February 18.

Customs court’s judge Rana Aftab heard the currency smuggling case.

During the hearing, Customs prosecutor Amin Feroz said that the super model visited Dubai for around 41 times and stayed at Burj Khalifa, while millions of dollars have been recovered from her.

The Customs court’s judge directed the prosecution to present evidence and expressed displeasure over incomplete preparation of prosecution.

Ayyan Ali’s lawyer Latif Khosa said that money laundering case cannot be registered against the super model, adding that Ayyan Ali has her own currency.

The court further resented customs plea seeking registration of money laundering case when currency smuggling has not been proved yet.
