Ayyan Ali not indicted in currency smuggling case, vows to prove her innocence

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The hearing of currency smuggling case against supermodel Ayyan Ali was adjourned without any further proceedings till October 8 after the indictment of Ayyan Ali was deferred again due to absence of customs court judge. The model appeared before the court of Customs Judge Rana Aftab, where she was to be indicted in the currency smuggling case. However, the judge was on leave and she appeared before Banking Court Judge Sabir Sultan. The court, without any proceeding, adjourned the hearing until October 8. Talking to media before hearing Ayyan Ali said that she respects the media but she was saddened when the reports surfaced on media without any authenticity. She declared the currency smuggling case against her false and vowed that she would prove her innocence in court.
