Ayyan Ali produced before banking court; Judge rebukes investigation officer over incomplete challan

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Model Ayyan Ali arrested for charges of money-laundering was produced before a banking court on Tuesday with the investigation officer producing an incomplete challan against the supermodel. During case proceedings, counsel for Customs told court that challan could not be completed against the accused because data of currency smuggling is being retrieved from Dubai. Susequently, the court directed the investigation team to present complete challan in the next hearing on May 8. Ayyan Ali was arrested by customs officials on March 14 from Benazir Bhutto International Airport after $508,000 were recovered from her possession.
