ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The prime ministers’ spokesmen have expressed the fear that Azadi March may cause instability in the country. The fears were expressed during a meeting presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday. Addressing the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the country is heading towards prosperity. “Some people want to create hurdles in progress,” he said. He said that the people should be apprised of economic successes of the government. “We will expose ulterior objectives of the march,” he said. The prime minister directed the spokesmen not to make the disease of Nawaz Sharif the topic. “Azadi March should be countered with the party narrative,” he said. PM Imran Khan said that the government is trying to resolve the political matter politically. Moreover, the prime minister has stopped the ministers from leaving Islamabad on Saturday and Sunday. “The government and party spokesmen will remain in Islamabad during Azadi March,” he directed. He asked the ministers to ensure their presence on the media with regard to their ministries. “The government policy should be defended instead of the personal agenda,” he said. The prime minister said that the government steps and policy should be highlighted in an effective way. “The impression of the government is presented wrongly through the personal agenda,” he added.
