Azadi March participants stuck in troubles after rain in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Azadi March participants stuck in troubles after intermittent rainfall in Islamabad on Wednesday. According to the reports, rain and thunderstorms intensified the cold weather in federal capital and participants of the Azadi March are forced to seek shelter in mosques and containers.  Several tents of protestors were also shattered by strong winds. On the other hand, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more rainfall and strong winds for the next four to five days. According to the PMD, rain and thunderstorms are likely to hit most places in Islamabad, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir today. It was also reported that hailing is also expected in some areas. Snow is also expected over high mountains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Following to this situation, the problems will be increased for participants of Azadi March under the open sky.
