Babar Ghauri, Shamim Siddiqui part ways with MQM-London

KARACHI (92 News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement senior leaders Babar Ghauri and Shamim Siddiqui have on Sunday resigned from the party citing personal reasons. Babar Ghauri, who is residing abroad since long, has said that now he consider Pak Sarzameen Party's (PSP) stance was correct. Babar Ghauri and Shamim Siddiqui announced their disassociation separately. Babar Ghauri said that he was quitting Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London purely on personal reasons. When asked whether he is leaving the MQM-Pakistan or the MQM-London, he said "There is only one MQM that is in London". He further said he has never been part of MQM-Pakistan. Babar Ghauri called for unity among the different political groups in order to resolve the issues being faced by people of Sindh.
