Babar Hassan Bharwana, Justice (retd) Ikramullah Khan take oath as ECP members

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Babar Hassan Bharwana and Justice (retd) Ikramullah Khan took oath as new members of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

The families of the members also attended the swearing in ceremony. With the appointment of new members, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has completed.

After the swearing in ceremony, Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja in an informal conversation with reporters said that the Election Commission makes its decisions without fear and will continue to do so. “It is their problem whether someone is angry or satisfied with the decisions. The Election Commission makes decisions in accordance with the Constitution and the law.”

“Election Commission is always ready for elections. New elections are to be decided by the government. The job of the Election Commission is to conduct clean and transparent elections,” he concluded.
