Bad news for masses as NEPRA increases power tariff by Rs1.15 per unit

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Wednesday increased the power tariff by Rs1.15 per unit, burdening the people with an extra amount of Rs22.29 billion.

The increase will be applicable to all consumers except K-Electric from January 1, 2024 to March 3, 2024.

The increase has been made under the head of the quarterly adjustment.
