ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Bahria Town chief Malik Riaz has accused three former military officers of blackmailing. In an application submitted with the Islamabad’s Lohi Bhair police station, he alleged that Lt-Col (retd) Tariq Kamal, Col (retd) Khalid Raheed and Dr Shafiqur Rahman were blackmailing him in the name of Arslan Iftikhar, son of a former chief justice. He alleged that Tariq Kamal had received Rs 50 million from him through blackmailing and its video recording was also available. Malik Riaz said that Tariq Kamal had again demanded Rs 50 million from him about 15 days ago and threatened him to damage his business credibility if he did not pay the amount. He also submitted documents and CCTV footage with the application. “I will soon make more proofs public,” he said. He appealed to the police to register the case against Tariq Kamal.
