Baldia factory case: Rehman Bhola retracts from confession

KARACHI (92 News) – The key accused in Baldia factory fire case withdrew from his confession, saying that the confession was taken during police torture. The hearing of Baldia factory case was held in an Anti Terrorism Court in Karachi on Thursday. The key accused of the case, Abdul Rehman aka Bhola and Zubair aka Charcha, were presented before the court. The investigation officer sought some time to submit the interim chalan. The court, accepting the request, ordered to submit the chalan in the next hearing. The court again ordered the Interior Ministry to issue red warrant of Hammad Siddiqui. Moreover, MQM-Pakistan leader Rauf Siddiqui also appeared in the court on Bhola’s revelation that Siddiqui was involved in the case. The court extended the bail of the MQM-Pakistan leader till January 25 and adjourned the hearing. After the hearing, Bhola in an informal talk said that he did not admit to any guilt and he is facing a lot of pressure.
