Baloch Culture Day celebrated with zeal

QUETTA (92 News) – The Baloch Culture Day was celebrated with zest and zeal in Balochistan on Monday. A colourful ceremony was held at Balochistan University. Ceremonies were also held in other cities, including Jacobabad, to highlight Baloch Culture. Meanwhile, Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and Chief Minister Jam Kamal felicitated the nation on Baloch Culture Day. In their messages, they said the day provides an opportunity to the young generation to learn about their centuries old culture and history. The Baloch Cultural Festival was also organized at Alhamra Arts Council. Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar inaugurated an exhibition of pictures and rare books. Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Usman Buzdar said that the encouragement of artistes is mandatory for the promotion of regional culture. A painting depicting the Balochistan culture was presented to Sardar Usman Buzdar. Singers were applauded for their performances in the cultural show.
