Balochistan Assembly adopts resolution calling for ban on MQM, action against Altaf

QUETTA (92 News) – Balochistan Assembly on Saturday adopts a unanimous resolution condemning Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain’s remarks degrading the armed forces of Pakistan. As per reports, the resolution which was presented by provincial Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, called for severe action against the MQM chief. “Ranting against the State institutions tantamounts to rebellion against the State,” it said. “Altaf Hussain’s speech calls for action under Article 6 of the Constitution.” Earlier Thursday night, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain criticized the armed forces of Pakistan in his address to party workers which majority of the channels aired live.
