Balochistan govt extends smart lockdown for 15 days

QUETTA (92 News) – The Balochistan government has extended the smart lockdown for 15 days. According to a notification issued on Wednesday, the lockdown will continue until June 2. Inter-district and inter-provincial transport will remain suspended during the period. However, shopping malls and markets will remain open from 3am to 5pm until Eid. After the Eid, markets will be allowed to open from 8am to 6pm. According to the notification, milk, yogurt, medical stores and tailor shops and blood banks will remain opened round-the-clock. Restaurants and hotels will remain opened for home delivery and takeaway service will also remain open round-the-clock. Meanwhile, there will be a ban on pillion riding across the province.
