Speaking on the occasion, Sarfraz Bungulzai who surrendered to the security forces said that they had been used to kill their own brothers. "India provides funding for the terrorist activities."

He urged the banned BNA people to shun the wrong path and join the national mainstream. "The path of country's progress moves from Balochistan. Gulzar Imam Shanbay followed the path of dialogues. India is trying to deteriorate the situation in Balochistan. The banned outfits collect money through kidnap and extortion," he added.

He said urged the people to provide education to their children.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq has welcomed the surrender of Sarfraz Bungulzai, saying peace and stability is the top priority of the government.

"This comes at the heels of another major re-integration in which Gulzar Imam Shambay (the previous head of BNA) was arrested and mainstreamed, in recent past. Embracing peace through inclusivity, our state and institutions are championing an accommodative approach, actively working to reintegrate estranged militants," he added.

The PM said that this strategic move seeks lasting peace, fostering understanding, and rebuilding communities. "Together, we pave the way for a harmonious and secure future for our next generations. I appreciate the efforts of our law enforcers and intelligence agencies, especially the ISI, that planned, executed and led this complicated clandestine operation. May Allah be with you all! Ameen," he maintained.
