Balochistan's socio-economic progress is govt's top priority: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the socio-economic progress of Balcohistan is top priority of the government. He was presiding over a meeting with regard to natural resources in Balochistan on Thursday. He said that the business community would be provided all-possible facilities. The prime minister said that Balochistan's natural resources should be used in a transparent and organized method. "It should also be ensured to use these resources for the prosperity of the masses," he said. Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa also attended the meeting. Prime Minister Imran Khan and COAS Qamar Bajwa exchanged their views on the roadmap with regard to utilizing the natural resources of Balochistan. During the meeting, the prime minister was also briefed about the role of Balochistan Exploration Company. Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal briefed the meeting about framework for the promotion of natural resources. He said that renowned business personalities had shown keen interest in utilizing the natural resources. CPEC Authority Chairman Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan, Law Minister Farogh Naseem, Adviser to PM on Finance Abdul Hafeez Shaikh and Abdur Razzaq Dawood were also present.
