Banned outfit activists, foreign nationals among 500 nabbed in Punjab

HASAN ABDAL (92 News) – Following the orders of chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, more than 500 people including foreign nationals and activists of banned organization were arrested during an operation launched in Punjab in the aftermath of Lahore blast. As per details, at least 250 people including foreign nationals were arrested from Sialkot, while 34 people were detained from Rahim Yar Khan. As many as 21 people from Lahore, 30 from Faisalabad and 70 suspects from Multan were nabbed during the operations. On the other hand, police carried out a raid in Hasan Abdal and held six activists of banned outfit and shifted them to unknown place for further interrogation.
